dms-108
DMS-108 - D-Link 8-Port Multi-Gigabit Desktop Switch

The D-Link DMS-108 is an 8-port 2.5G multi-gigabit unmanaged desktop switch designed to help you eliminate network bottlenecks and get more from your Wi-Fi 6 network, NAS and high-speed devices. With eight 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a compact, durable metal housing, the DMS-108 is a quick and easy way to upgrade your wired network, with no software or configuration required.

Every port on the DMS-108 uses auto-sensing to detect the speed of the connected device (10/100Mbps, 1G or 2.5G), so you can mix Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit devices on one network and still achieve the best possible speed for each. It is backward compatible with Cat5e and higher cabling, and all ports support Auto MDI/MDIX, so there is no need for crossover cables.

Key Features

Eight 10/100Mbps/1G/2.5G ports for high-speed wired connections

40 Gbps switching capacity for fast, seamless data transfer

Plug-and-play installation: no software or configuration needed

IEEE 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS) with 8 priority levels to prioritise important traffic

IEEE 802.3x Flow Control to help minimise dropped packets

IGMP Snooping to optimise multicast streams for applications such as IPTV

Energy-Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) and link status detection to reduce power consumption

Fanless design for silent operation and enhanced reliability

Sturdy metal housing that aids heat dissipation and durability

Per-port LED indicators for easy link status checking

RoHS compliant, eco-friendly design

Ideal for: home offices, small office/home office (SOHO) environments, gamers and small businesses that want to upgrade to multi-gigabit speeds for NAS, servers, 2.5G PCIe adapters, gaming PCs and Wi-Fi 6 access points.

Compatible Products

2.5G Network Devices
Ideal for connecting 2.5G NAS devices, 2.5G PCIe adapters, 2.5G servers and gaming PCs.

Wi-Fi 6 Networks
Eight 2.5 Gigabit ports provide multi-speed transmission suited to high-performance Wi-Fi 6 networks.

Legacy Ethernet Devices
Auto-sensing ports connect Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and Gigabit devices alongside 2.5G equipment.

The DMS-108 pairs simple setup with silent, energy-efficient operation, making it a dependable foundation for a faster wired network.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0598/0304/1932/files/DMS-108_0262193555249f9dfa61488ccd2d56ea709c4f6a445d78934b1c01c03953cfe3.jpg?v=1792636513
