FAQs
What should I do if I forget my wireless password?
The default wireless password is printed on the router's label. If it has been changed, connect a computer to the router with an Ethernet cable, visit tplinkwifi.net, log in with your TP-Link ID or router password, then go to Wireless to retrieve or reset it.
What should I do if I forget my web management password?
If you use a TP-Link ID or have enabled Password Recovery, click Forgot password on the login page. Otherwise, press and hold the Reset button until the Power LED blinks to restore factory defaults, then create a new password.
What should I do if I can't log in to the router's web management page?
Check that your computer is correctly connected and set to obtain IP and DNS addresses automatically, and confirm that tplinkwifi.net or 192.168.0.1 is entered correctly. You can also try another browser or computer, or reset the router to factory defaults.
What should I do if I can't access the internet after configuration?
Check the internet status under Advanced > Network > Status. Restart your modem and router, confirm your internet connection type with your ISP, check the physical connection to the modem, and upgrade the router firmware if needed.
What should I do if I can't find or connect to my wireless network?
Ensure the wireless function and adapter are enabled on your device, move closer to the router, and check that your network name (SSID) is not hidden. If you are asked for a PIN, you can connect using the wireless password/security key instead.
