The TP-Link Deco X50-DSL (3-pack) (SKU: Deco X50-DSL(3-pack)) is an AX3000 VDSL Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 Router that combines a built-in VDSL/ADSL modem, WiFi 6 and TP-Link Mesh technology in a single system. By replacing a separate modem and router, it helps you save on equipment while delivering reliable whole-home WiFi coverage.
With support for VDSL2 Profile 35b, the Deco X50-DSL delivers downstream speeds of up to 350 Mbps. Dual-band WiFi 6 provides 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, for a combined AX3000 rating of up to 3.0 Gbps, suited to 4K streaming, cloud gaming and video calls. Wireless connections and optional Ethernet backhaul link the Deco units together, and the system connects over 150 devices.

Does the Deco X50-DSL work as a modem?
Yes. It is a combined modem and WiFi router, and works in DSL Modem Router mode when your internet service is delivered over a DSL line.
Can I use it if I already have a modem?
Yes. If your internet service is delivered over an Ethernet cable, you can set it up in Wireless Router mode using the Deco app.
How do I set it up?
Download the Deco app, log in with a TP-Link ID, select your Deco model and choose either 'Use as a DSL Modem Router' or 'Use as a Wi-Fi Router', then follow the guided steps.
How do I add the other Deco units in the pack?
After the first unit is set up, plug in the other Deco units from the same package and they are added to the network within about 2 minutes.
Can Deco work with a DSL connection directly?
Yes. TP-Link offers VDSL Deco models that support DSL cable connections, including the Deco X50-DSL.
