The TP-Link DS1018GMP is an Omada 18-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Rackmount Switch with 16-Port PoE+ designed for simple, reliable network and power delivery. With 16× Gigabit PoE+ RJ45 ports and 2× Combo Gigabit SFP slots, the DS1018GMP (SKU: DS1018GMP) lets you power and connect IP cameras, access points, IP phones and more over a single Ethernet cable. The plug and play design means easy deployment without the need for a technician, and no configuration or central management is required.
Compliant with the IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards, the switch supports a total 250 W PoE power budget with a maximum of 30 W per PoE+ port. If total power consumption exceeds 250 W, intelligent power management cuts power to lower-priority ports to protect your devices from damage. Note that Omada Unmanaged Switches do not support Omada SDN central management.

FAQs
What can I do if my PC is not working when it is connected to the Unmanaged Switch by cable?
TP-Link recommends first checking that the Ethernet light is on and that the PC works when connected to the router directly. Then connect two PCs to the switch with static IP addresses in the same network and ping between them. If the ping fails, contact TP-Link support, as there may be a problem with the switch.
What can I do if the speed is slow when the PC is connected to the unmanaged switch?
Check the connection speed between the PC and the switch. TP-Link advises that the router and the PC's network card are also set to auto-negotiation and that a standard-compliant cable is used. If transfer speed between two PCs on the switch is much slower than expected, contact TP-Link support.
What can I do if the Ethernet LED indicators on the Unmanaged Switch are off?
This can be caused by a non-standard cable, a speed negotiation failure between the switch and the connected device, or a faulty switch. Try a different, good-quality cable and set the device's network card to auto mode.
