The TP-Link DS106P is an Omada 6-Port 10/100Mbps Unmanaged Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE+, designed to make it simple to add Power over Ethernet devices to your network. Just plug and play: the DS106P (SKU: DS106P) delivers both data and power over a single cable, with a total 67 W PoE budget across its four PoE+ ports, making it a practical choice for surveillance and small-network deployments in offices, dormitories and small businesses.
Compliant with the IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards, this PoE switch supports up to 30 W per PoE+ port. If total power consumption exceeds the 67 W budget, intelligent power management cuts power to lower-priority ports to protect your devices from damage. With Extend Mode, PoE transmission reaches up to 250 m, which is ideal for IP camera deployment across larger areas. Please note that ports in Extend Mode drop to 10 Mbps, and actual distance may vary with the power draw of the connected device and cable quality and type.
The switch needs no configuration or central management, and its fanless design keeps operation silent. It can sit on a desk or be wall-mounted.

Compatible Products
Works with IEEE 802.3af/at compliant powered devices, including IP cameras, wireless access points, IP phones and other PoE-powered equipment. Non-PoE devices such as computers and printers can also be connected for data.
Please note: Omada Unmanaged Switches do not support Omada SDN central management. PoE budget figures are based on laboratory testing and the actual budget will vary with client limitations and environmental factors.
FAQs
Can I manage the unmanaged switch via a utility or web interface?
No. An unmanaged switch is a plug-and-play device that requires no configuration. It cannot be managed and has no management interface or IP address.
Can I connect non-PoE devices to the PoE ports?
Yes. You can connect a non-PoE device to a PoE port for data transmission without any problem, but the switch cannot power the non-PoE device.
How does Extend Mode work?
With Extend Mode off, ports operate at their standard speed with PoE support up to 100 m. With it on, ports operate at 10 Mbps with PoE support up to 250 m. Actual distance may vary with the connected device's power consumption and the cable quality and type.
