It is a wire-free, subscription-free local storage security system built around encrypted, on-site recording, so your footage stays under your control.
The Home Hub 2 supports up to 16MP ultra-high-definition video and up to 8 Reolink cameras, including dual-band Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi 6 models. It adds AI-driven tools such as AI Video Search to locate key events in recorded alarm videos using text-based search, plus Cross-Camera Events to help you follow a target's movement across cameras. Cross-Camera Events does not use facial recognition; it groups targets by visual attributes such as clothing colour and hair length.
The Altas PT Ultra camera delivers 4K UHD footage with 355° pan and 90° tilt, auto-tracking and ColorX full-colour night vision. Its 20,000mAh rechargeable battery can last up to 500 days in PIR mode (based on 300 seconds of recording per day), and the Solar Panel 2 helps keep it topped up for continuous, wire-free protection.

Compatible Products
The Reolink Home Hub series is compatible with all Reolink PoE cameras, plug-in Wi-Fi cameras and most recently released battery Wi-Fi cameras, except 2MP battery cameras and 4G cameras. Battery cameras may need a firmware update before being added to the hub.

No. The Home Hub only supports wired connections and must be connected to the router via Ethernet cable.

Yes, once the Home Hub is updated to the required firmware version. Battery life is shorter with 24/7 recording enabled than in PIR mode.
