The Cudy IG1005P is a rugged 5-port Gigabit industrial PoE+ switch engineered for demanding environments including manufacturing, transportation, maritime, oil & gas, and mining applications. Designed to deliver reliable network connectivity and power in extreme conditions, the IG1005P combines industrial-grade construction with advanced protection features to ensure stable operation where standard switches cannot survive.
This industrial Ethernet switch features five shielded Gigabit Ethernet ports, with four ports supporting IEEE 802.3at/af PoE+ (Mode A) capable of delivering up to 30W per port with a total 120W power budget. The switch provides both data and power over a single cable, simplifying deployment of IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and other PoE-enabled devices in locations where electrical outlets are impractical or unavailable.
Built to withstand harsh industrial environments, the IG1005P operates reliably in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C (-40°F to 167°F). The rugged IP40-rated aluminium housing provides excellent heat dissipation whilst protecting internal components from dust and physical damage. An integrated DIN-rail bracket enables secure mounting in control cabinets, equipment racks, and industrial enclosures.
The switch incorporates Level 4 EMC protection with ±6kV surge resistance on both power and Ethernet ports, safeguarding connected equipment from electrical interference and voltage spikes common in industrial settings. Dual redundant DC power inputs (44-57V) with terminal block connections offer failover protection, ensuring continuous operation even if one power source fails. Additional safety features include polarity reverse protection and short circuit protection for stable operation in complex power environments.
The plug-and-play design requires no configuration, making deployment quick and straightforward. Optional features such as Watchdog On/Off, Broadcast Storm Prevention On/Off, Extend On/Off, and VLAN On/Off provide flexibility for more advanced network requirements. The fanless design ensures silent operation and enhanced reliability by eliminating moving parts that can fail in dusty or extreme environments.
