Third-Party NVRs, NAS and Software
Thanks to ONVIF Profile S, G and T support, the camera can be added to third-party NVRs, NAS devices and video management software that support ONVIF, with RTSP available as an alternative for live streaming.

FAQs
Can I use this camera with a third-party NVR or NAS?
Yes. Omada Cameras support ONVIF Profile S, G and T, so they can be added to third-party NVRs, NAS devices or software that also support ONVIF. Where ONVIF is not supported, live streaming is possible via RTSP.
Which ports does the camera use for ONVIF and RTSP?
The ONVIF service port is 80 and the RTSP service port is 554.
How do I set the camera up without a PC?
You can configure the camera using the Omada Guard App. Log in with a TP-Link ID, connect your mobile device to the network, then add the camera by scanning the QR code on its label.
Does the camera need to be on the same network as my configuration device?
Yes. To initialise an Omada camera, the camera and the device used for configuration must be on the same network segment.
Can third-party cameras be managed in Omada Central?
Third-party cameras cannot be added to Omada Central directly. They must first be connected to an Omada or VIGI NVR via ONVIF or RTSP, after which they can be managed indirectly through the NVR.
