Note: TP-Link states this product is compatible with standardised EasyMesh technology but has not obtained Wi-Fi EasyMesh certification.

How do I set up the RE225BE?
Plug the extender into a power outlet next to your router and wait for the Power LED to turn solid on. Then complete setup via the WPS button, the Tether app or a web browser. Afterwards, relocate it about halfway between your router and the Wi-Fi dead zone, within range of your router.
What should I do if the Tether app cannot find my device during setup?
Connect your smartphone to the extender's network (TP-Link_Extender), launch the Tether app, select your extender and follow the app instructions.
What should I do if the LED doesn't turn solid on after setup?
You may have entered an incorrect Wi-Fi password for your main router, so check it and try again. Also ensure the extender is close to your router and away from large electrical appliances.
How do I reset the extender?
With the extender powered on, use a pin to press the Reset button for 1 second. The extender will reboot.
When should I use Access Point mode?
Access Point mode transforms your existing wired network into a wireless network, and is recommended when your wireless devices need to access a wired network.
