WG9037 - WatchGuard Redundant Power Supply for Firebox M395/M495/M595/M695
Description
Description
The WatchGuard WG9037 Redundant Power Supply is an optional 250W common redundant power supply (CRPS) designed for the WatchGuard Firebox M395, M495, M595 and M695 rackmount firewall appliances. Adding the WG9037 gives your Firebox a second source of power, helping to keep your network security online if the main power supply fails or is disconnected.
Each of these Firebox models includes a 12V, 135W internal power supply and an optional CRPS slot. SKU WG9037 fills that slot, giving you power redundancy for your network security appliance without replacing the firewall itself.
Key Features
- 250W common redundant power supply (CRPS) module for supported Firebox M-Series appliances
- Provides power redundancy if the main power supply is not functioning or is disconnected
- Front-panel Power indicator flashes green to show the Firebox is running from the redundant power supply
- Fits the optional CRPS slot on the Firebox M395, M495, M595 and M695
- Official WatchGuard accessory, designed specifically for the M-Series rackmount range
How It Works
When the optional redundant power supply is installed, the Firebox Power indicator gives you a clear visual status. It shows green when the Firebox is powered on, and flashes green when the Firebox is drawing power from the redundant supply because the main power supply is not functioning or is disconnected. This makes it easy to spot a primary power issue before it becomes an outage.
Important Notes
- The Firebox M395, M495, M595 and M695 do not ship with a power cord, as the internal power supply uses a standard IEC C13 AC power cord. WatchGuard recommends a minimum 18AWG/10A cable, available separately as regional power cords.
- Firebox appliances are best connected to a conditioned power supply to guard against sudden power changes.
Ideal for
Businesses, IT managers, MSPs and network administrators running a WatchGuard Firebox M395, M495, M595 or M695 who need high-availability power protection for mission-critical network security.
