Can I use this doorbell with my existing mechanical chime?
Yes, when hardwired. If using Wired Power Mode, you'll need either a Jumper Cable (included) or the RLA-PK1 Power Kit (sold separately). Note that when using the Jumper Cable, the mechanical chime is bypassed and will not ring.
What's the difference between Battery Mode and Wired Power Mode?
Battery Mode offers wire-free installation with motion-triggered recording. Wired Power Mode (16–24VAC) unlocks 24/7 continuous recording and pre-recording functionality when used as a standalone device with a microSD card. When connected to an NVR or Home Hub, only motion-triggered recording is supported.
Can the doorbell connect to both Reolink Home Hub and Reolink NVR?
