The TP-Link SG5428XF is an Omada Campus 24-Port SFP Stackable Lite L3 Managed Switch with 4× 10G SFP+ slots, designed for enterprise and campus networks that need wire-speed performance and rich Layer 2 and Layer 3 management features. Combining high-density fibre SFP connectivity, physical stacking and Omada SDN cloud management, the SG5428XF gives growing businesses a scalable, resilient aggregation and access switch.
With 128 Gbps switching capacity per unit, a 95.23 Mpps packet forwarding rate and a 16K MAC address table, the SG5428XF handles demanding traffic loads. Dual internal power supplies back each other up, helping to keep your network online if one supply fails.

Stacking and Resilience
Any of the 10G SFP+ uplink ports can be used as a stacking port. Stack up to four switches in chain, ring or star topologies for simpler management, larger bandwidth and higher reliability, with Multi-active Detection (MAD) support on the latest hardware version.
Omada SDN Management
The SG5428XF integrates with Omada's Software Defined Networking platform, bringing access points, switches and gateways under one interface, with centralised cloud management and Zero-Touch Provisioning (requires an Omada controller).

Compatible Products
For stacking, the SG5428XF is compatible with the TP-Link SG5428XF, SG5428X, SG5428XMPP, SG5452X and SG5452XMPP Omada switches. It also works with 1G SFP and 10G SFP+ modules and cables (sold separately), and can be managed alongside Omada access points and gateways through an Omada Hardware, Software or Cloud-Based Controller.
Please note: only one 10G RJ45 SFP+ module (SM5310-T) can be inserted at a time, and the combo RJ45 ports do not negotiate at 10 Mbps. SFP modules and stacking cables are not included.
