The TP-Link TL-SF1048 48-port 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch is designed for SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) or workgroup users. It comes in a 19" rack-mount size metal case design combined with a safety certified internal power supply to make the switch a robust product that is very cost-effective for less than 48 users/devices.
The plug-and-play and auto-negotiation capabilities allow the TP-Link TL-SF1048 Switch to auto-detect its link partner (Ethernet adapter, for example) with the best speed and each port provides full bandwidth (Maximum with 200Mbps in full duplex mode) without a traditional hub´s collision phenomenon downgrading the performance. All ports can be the uplink (cascade) port which is provided to link to another switch for more ports expansion.
