The WatchGuard WG8022 40Gb Short-Range QSFP+ Transceiver is the WatchGuard-branded 40GBase-SR4 multi-mode QSFP+ transceiver for the WatchGuard Firebox M 2 Port 40Gb QSFP+ Fiber Module. Supplied under SKU WG8022, it lets you light up the QSFP+ ports on your Firebox M appliance so you can connect to 40Gb Ethernet fibre infrastructure with a transceiver that WatchGuard lists as supported for this purpose.
The QSFP+ ports on the WatchGuard 2 Port 40Gb QSFP+ Fiber Module do not work out of the box: a compatible QSFP+ transceiver must be plugged in before the interfaces can be used.
