G3 Retrofit Reader: Smartphone-Ready Access
The G3 Retrofit Reader turns legacy wiring into mobile-first access.
If you want frictionless entry, the G3 Retrofit Reader delivers. It is an indoor/outdoor OSDP reader with NFC Card and Touch Pass support, compatible with the UniFi Retrofit Hub using existing cabling.
It brings BLE smartphone unlock, NFC and TouchPass to the wiring you already have, making secure entry faster and more convenient.
To use, connect the Retrofit Reader with the provided RS-485 wiring instructions. It must be connected directly to the designated ports on the Retrofit Hub. You can daisy-chain up to two Retrofit Readers per door.
Please note that daisy-chaining is only available for UniFi Retrofit Readers. Wiegand readers are not supported.
