What is the UniFi Access Elevator Starter Kit used for?
It connects to in-elevator readers over PoE to authorise a user's floor selection. It supports up to 18 floors and has digital inputs for car status and emergency.
What is included in the kit?
The kit contains one Elevator Hub, one G2 Reader, two 2-wire PoE extenders and ten Access Cards.
How is the Elevator Hub powered, and what outputs does it have?
The Elevator Hub is powered by a PoE++ input (50V DC, 1.2A). It has four PoE+ outputs at 30W per port, up to 45W aggregated, and 18 relay outputs rated 30V DC/2A. It draws a maximum of 7W without PoE output.
How many users can the Elevator Hub support?
The Elevator Hub supports a maximum of 6,000 users and is managed through the UniFi Access application.
What card and NFC technologies does the G2 Reader support?
The G2 Reader supports NFC at 13.56 MHz, including ISO/IEC 14443A/B, MIFARE Classic and MIFARE DESFire, and also has BLE 4.1. NFC read range is under 30 mm.
