Description

The Ubiquiti Fail-Secure is an electric drop bolt lock that connects to a UniFi Access Hub (UA Hub) and ensures full security even during a power failure.

Built for strength and longevity, this type of lock remains locked when there is no power, only unlocking when electricity is applied.

This versatile lock can be installed on an aluminium, steel, or wooden single door frame, so you can place it wherever you need to enhance your door security. Offering support for a voltage range of10.5–16V DC, the lock also meets all applicable ANSI safety standards and can be connected to a UA Hub in minutes.

What happens to the lock if power is lost?

It is a fail-secure drop bolt lock, so it stays locked when there is no power and only unlocks when electricity is applied. This keeps the door secure during a power outage.

What does this lock connect to?

It connects to a UniFi Access Hub (UA Hub) and can be wired up in minutes. Wiring covers the lock 12V/NO, COM and NC connections plus the DPS positive and negative terminals.

What type of door and frame can it be installed on?

It suits a single door with an aluminium, steel or wooden frame. It uses a door frame recess mount.

What are the power requirements?
