What is Pre-Order / Special Order
We are just not quite the same as many of the other online stores. I know it is easy to say that, but we just aren't.
The Tech Geeks, under their parent company Twelve Times (Worldwide) Pty Ltd trade in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
This allows us to purchase stock from suppliers from locations where they have it available. We are then able to import those products directly, along with providing localised Warranty and Replacement as required.
We only list items that we know have been, or are about to be released to us and since we purchase only in small batches these are often flown in on short time frames.
We list on each product our expected shipments and ones that we have already sent out to customers. Please use these dates as a guideline as we always suggest 14-21 days just to allow for air freight or customs hold ups.

Description
Description
Battery-powered SuperLink sensor that detects water leaks, temperature, humidity, and ambient light.
The sensor is equipped with multiple leak detection points:
- Flood detection: Two sets of contact points on the bottom of the device sense the presence of standing water.
- Drip detection: A dedicated set of contact points on the top of the device detects leaks from above, such as dripping pipes or condensation.
- External probes: A 3.5mm port allows connection of compatible third-party leak detection probes for expanded coverage.
Customised notifications for leak or out-of-range events can be configured in Alarm Manager. Once configured, UniFi Protect instantly sends out a push notification or webhook and logs the event in the dashboard.
The sensor normally operates in a low-power sleep mode, but pressing the function button temporarily wakes it up and forces it to synchronise with the SuperLink Gateway. When pressed, the sensor is also highlighted in the devices page of UniFi Protect making it easy to identify the device.
Please note that due to air freight restrictions in to Australia the Lithium battery will be removed from these items and replaced once in Australia. These use standard CR123A batteries.
