How many ports does the USW-Ultra-210W have, and which support PoE?
It has eight Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports. Seven are PoE+ output ports, and the eighth is a GbE port that can optionally accept PoE++ input. Ports run at 1G, 100M or 10M.
How much PoE power is available in total?
With the included AC power adapter, 202W of PoE is available. This drops to 42W with PoE++ input and 16W with PoE+ input. PoE+/PoE++ input or AC power is required for PoE output.
Can the switch be powered over PoE instead of the AC adapter?
Yes. The eighth port supports optional PoE++ input, and PoE input is supported for switch operation. A power adapter can also be used as the power source, and an AC/DC adapter is included.
What is the maximum PoE output per port?
The seven PoE-capable output ports support PoE+, which is up to 30W per port. The eighth port is a PoE++ input port rather than a PoE output port.
What software does it work with, and how is it mounted?
It works with UniFi Network version 8.0.7 and later. It is a compact Layer 2 switch with desktop, wall and magnetic mounting options, and a wall mount accessory is listed in the weight specifications.
