Does the USW-Ultra come with a power adapter?
No, no power supply is included. It is designed to be powered by a PoE++ switch, and it also accepts DC input in the 50–57V range.
How many ports does it have and what PoE does it provide?
It has 8 GbE RJ45 ports: 7 PoE+ output ports and 1 PoE++ input port. Each PoE+ port outputs up to 30W, and ports run at 1G, 100M or 10M.
How much total PoE power is available?
It depends on the power source. A PoE++ input gives 42W, a PoE+ input gives 16W, a 60W adapter gives 42W (60W AC adapter input: 52W), and a 210W AC adapter gives 202W.
Is this a managed switch and what software does it need?
It is a Layer 2 switch managed over Ethernet, supporting up to 256 VLANs. It requires UniFi Network version 8.0.28 or later.
Where can I mount it?
