Does the G4 Doorbell Pro PoE Kit have Wi-Fi?
No. This model does not have wireless. The doorbell connects through its built-in RJ45 port and is powered over PoE, so it needs a wired Ethernet connection to a PoE source.
How is the doorbell powered, and what is included for chiming?
Both the doorbell and the included chime are powered by PoE and have a built-in RJ45 port for direct connection to a PoE source. The doorbell accepts 37-57V DC and draws up to 7W; the chime accepts 44-57V DC and draws up to 3W.
What camera and night vision features does it have?
It has a 5MP main camera and an 8MP package-detection camera, both outputting 1600 x 1200 at up to 30 FPS. IR night vision reaches 6 m (20 ft), and the main camera has a 138° horizontal field of view with LDC on.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes, it is weather-resistant with an IPX4 rating and is suited to covered outdoor locations. It operates in ambient temperatures from -30 to 40°C and 0 to 90% non-condensing humidity.
How do I view and manage the doorbell?
It is managed through the UniFi Protect app for iOS and Android. It also offers two-way audio, AI event detections and a programmable welcome display.
