The heater automatically activates for the first six-hours, which may cause the metal housing to feel warm during this period - this is normal and part of the device’s design.
For proper airflow and moisture release, remove the sealed rubber from the vent during installation.
Does the Pre-Lock design allow hands-free angle adjustment?
Yes. The G6 Edge Turret’s Pre-Lock mechanism allows the base to be mounted first and temporarily holds the camera head in place for easy, hands-free angle adjustment. Once aligned, the lock screw can be tightened to secure the camera in place.
How should the G6 Edge Turret be positioned during installation?
When installing the G6 Edge Turret, keep the arrow mark near the speaker facing upward to prevent water from covering the vent. Avoid blocking the two microphone holes or the speaker opening to maintain clear two-way audio.
