Description
Description
The WatchGuard Firebox M4850/M5850/M6850 2-port 100GbE QSFP28 OCP Module (SKU: WG9043) is an optional OCP 3.0 network card that adds two 100 Gbps QSFP28 ports to your Firebox High Rackmount appliance. It is designed for organisations that need ultra-high-speed connectivity for data centre, campus and core network deployments, and it slots straight into the dedicated module bay at the rear of the appliance.
The Firebox M4850, M5850 and M6850 each include an OCP 3.0 PCIe Gen 5 x8 module bay. The WG9043 is one of the optional cards available for this bay, giving you the flexibility to scale your 100GbE network capacity as your traffic grows, without replacing the firewall.
Key Features
- 2 x 100 Gbps QSFP28 interfaces, which operate with compatible QSFP28 transceivers
- OCP 3.0 (Open Compute Project) network card format
- Designed specifically for the Firebox M4850, M5850 and M6850 rackmount firewalls
- Installs into the rear module bay (OCP 3.0 PCIe Gen 5 x8)
- Adds high-speed interfaces to your existing built-in 1G, 10G and 25G ports
- Fully integrated with Fireware: install the module, then configure the new interfaces in your Firebox configuration
Installation Notes
