The WatchGuard FireboxV Micro (SKU: WGVMC001) is a virtual firewall built to bring network security to virtualised environments. WatchGuard designs FireboxV to protect cloud and on-premises workloads with the same confidence as physical infrastructure, making it a practical alternative to a dedicated hardware appliance for very small sites.
As the entry-level model in the FireboxV range, the Micro delivers 1 Gbps firewall throughput and is sized for up to 5 users. It runs on industry-standard hypervisors including Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere, and can be managed through WatchGuard Cloud, the WatchGuard System Manager console or a scriptable command line interface.
