Description

The WatchGuard FireCloud Total Access is a cloud-delivered hybrid SASE and Zero Trust security service that protects remote and hybrid workers from Internet-based threats while giving them identity-based access to SaaS, cloud and private applications. It unifies Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) in a single platform managed through WatchGuard Cloud.

Part of WatchGuard's Unified Security Platform, FireCloud Total Access is delivered through a single security agent and integrates with WatchGuard's network defence, endpoint protection and multi-factor authentication services. It is designed as a remote user VPN replacement, removing the complexity of traditional VPNs while giving IT administrators centralised visibility and consistent policy enforcement for every user and device.

Key Features

  • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) with application-level controls and per-session, identity- and device-aware access to private apps
  • Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) including Intrusion Prevention (IPS), Gateway AntiVirus and Botnet Detection, Cloud Sandboxing (APT Blocker), TLS Inspection and DNS Filtering
  • Secure Web Gateway (SWG) with URL Filtering (WebBlocker) and Application Control to block risky apps
  • VPN services providing encrypted tunnels for legacy and custom applications where a traditional VPN is still required
  • Centralised cloud management in WatchGuard Cloud, with one console for remote worker protection, VPN and ZTNA visibility, plus centralised policies and reporting
  • Global points of presence (PoPs): security settings are deployed automatically to WatchGuard-hosted PoPs worldwide for consistent enforcement wherever users are located
  • Identity provider integration: use the WatchGuard Cloud Directory or AuthPoint as a SAML identity provider
  • Private resource access without a VPN via a FireCloud Gateway, which can be installed on your network or an existing Firebox

Ideal for: managed service providers (MSPs), lean IT teams and small-to-enterprise organisations with remote, travelling and office-based staff that need zero trust access and cloud-delivered web and firewall protection without extra on-premises hardware.
