The WatchGuard MDR Vulnerability Scanner is an add-on licence that brings vulnerability management into the WatchGuard MDR managed security experience. It helps you identify and assess vulnerabilities across your customers' environments, giving you findings that can support remediation planning and ongoing security reviews. Scanning is centralised through the WatchGuard Managed Services portal, so there is no need for dedicated scanning infrastructure.
With this licence you can scan internal and external IP addresses to uncover open ports, exposed services, missing patches, end-of-life software, weak or default credentials and other exploitable misconfigurations, helping you find and close exposure gaps before attackers do.
