The WatchGuard AP340 (SKU: WGA340000) is a cloud-managed Wi-Fi 7 access point (802.11be) built for modern workplaces, distributed organisations and Managed Service Providers. Supplied as an appliance only, it delivers fast, reliable and secure wireless connectivity with tri-band operation, a 10GbE PoE+ port and a dedicated scanning security radio for continuous airspace monitoring.
Wi-Fi 7 helps wireless networks handle more devices and higher-bandwidth applications more efficiently, which can mean smoother video calls, faster file transfers and fewer slowdowns when many users are connected at once. Management is handled centrally through WatchGuard Cloud, giving you visibility, monitoring and configuration in one place, with WPA3 encryption to protect users and devices.

Power and Licensing
The AP340 should be powered from a PoE source or injector supporting 802.3at (PoE+) or higher. Lower 802.3af power is insufficient and the wireless radios will be disabled. To use the access point with WatchGuard Cloud, it must be activated with its serial number and a valid WatchGuard Standard or USP Wi-Fi licence, which is purchased separately from this appliance-only unit.
