Who is it for?

Omada primarily caters to IT professionals and MSPs in the small-to-medium business market but, owing to their flexibility and scalability, Omada EAPs are applicable to a wide range of environments. Whether inside a hotel, a large office or on a remote cattle station, there is a TP-Link Omada EAP to suit even the most demanding scenario.

Desktop Access Points:
A fuss-free indoor access point that delivers secure Wi-Fi to all connected devices from a single interface.

IDEAL FOR connected businesses such as retailers, campuses, offices and hotels.

Ceiling Mount Access Point:
A slimline, high-performance EAP that can be ceiling mounted to provide broad indoor wireless connectivity.

IDEAL FOR larger indoor public places such as malls, offices, stadium, lobbies.

Wall Plate Access Point:
A wall-mounted solution that can be installed directly onto wall junction box, for corner-to-corner Wi-Fi in each room.

IDEAL FOR small but high-density indoor scenarios like hotels, dormitories, apartments, villas, and meeting rooms.

Outdoor Access Point:
Outdoor APs cater to challenging environments that require reliable, longer distance coverage or robust, waterproof solutions.

Outdoor Bridge:
Network bridges facilitate long-distance point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless transmission with no cable. They offer zero-touch provisioning for remote set up and management, and are also equipped with outdoor features, including lightning protection.

IDEAL FOR multiple scenarios. Mount to outdoor walls or poles for reliable Wi-Fi coverage in any outdoor location, even across large distances.

How many EAPs do I need?

There are several factors to consider when deploying EAPs, including Wi-Fi speeds, coverage areas, concurrent clients, walls and obstacles, and Wi-Fi interference.

With Omada EAPs, you can easily adjust the number of connected clients to optimise EAP load. For a seamless connectivity experience in high density scenarios, you can add extra EAPs to increase coverage, all operated from a single pane of glass with the Omada Controller.

Recommended coverage radius (approximate):
15m (50ft) for every indoor EAP
100m (330ft) for each outdoor EAP.

For broader, long-range coverage, opt for an Omada wireless bridge. Ranges span 1000-5000 metres.
