When you order a Sophos license from us please make sure you include the license number or current hardware appliance serial number. Licenses generally take around 24 - 36 working hours to be issued after order.

In some instances you may find we show out of stock for certain hardware models. This is fairly normal and reflects the fact, often that we have to place what is called a back to back order. When you order with us, we order with Sophos and the unit is shipped in to the country. Please allow around 10 working days where we show as out of stock.

The Sophos external 30° directional antenna 2.4/5GHz (SKU: ANTZTCHAB) is an optional outdoor Wi-Fi antenna designed exclusively for the Sophos APX 320X and Sophos AP6 420X outdoor access points. Where the standard omnidirectional antennas provide relatively even coverage in all directions, a directional antenna lets you achieve targeted coverage across an extended range and reduce wasted signal, which is ideal for outdoor areas where obstructions can interfere with the signal.

Supporting both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, this 30° directional antenna concentrates RF energy into a narrow beam, making it a practical choice for extending wireless range, eliminating dead zones, or creating a point-to-point link between nearby buildings.

Key Features

• 30° directional coverage for focused, long-range wireless signal
• Dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation (2400~2500 MHz and 5150~5850 MHz)
• Antenna gain of 11.6~11.8 dBi (V-pol) and 11.6~12.0 dBi (H-pol) at 2.4 GHz; 10.6~11.0 dBi (V-pol) and 10.4~11.5 dBi (H-pol) at 5 GHz
• V-pol./H-pol. ports with 20 dB isolation
• N Jack connector with 50 Ohm impedance
• Can be used alongside the standard omnidirectional antennas or with another sector/directional antenna
• Connects to the access point using the supplied cables
• Supplied with an articulating mount and T-form bracket for pole mounting
• Compact panel dimensions of 320 x 200 x 20.5 mm (12.6 x 7.87 x 0.81 inches)

Ideal for: IT managers, installers and network administrators who need to extend outdoor wireless coverage, target specific areas such as car parks, yards or industrial sites, or link short-distance buildings using Sophos APX 320X or AP6 420X access points.
