The Tech Geeks Firewall Support

We are just not quite the same as many of the other online stores.  I know it is easy to say that, but we just aren't.

The Tech Geeks, under their parent company Twelve Times (Worldwide) Pty Ltd trade in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

This allows us to purchase stock from suppliers from locations where they have it available.    We are then able to import those products directly, along with providing localised Warranty and Replacement as required.

We only list items that we know have been, or are about to be released to us and since we purchase only in small batches these are often flown in on short time frames.

We list on each product our expected shipments and ones that we have already sent out to customers.   Please use these dates as a guideline as we always suggest 14-21 days just to allow for air freight or customs hold ups.

We also offer basic and in-depth reviews to ensure your firewall is fit for your purposes.  All of our consultants are highly trained professionals that know firewalls inside out and have no affiliation with a specific vendor. This means you can trust that all advice you receive from The Tech Geeks is unbiased and up-to-date.

Hourly Firewall Technical Support:
Many customers use this service as and when needed, to gain support and advice on specific network requirements, VLANs, VPN configurations or security checkups.

Basic Firewall Pre-Configuration:
This option is best for simple setups and includes - firewall activation, registration and firmware updates.   Set up of all the security services and creation of a profile that will fit your network needs.   Once the initial configuration is done, the unit will be shipped to site for you to plug in.   The Tech Geeks will be on hand for up to a further 30 minutes to work through any last minutes changes or issues.

Standard Firewall Pre-Configuration:
This option is best for those wanting a little more hands on help and includes - firewall activation, registration and firmware updates.   Set up of all the security services and creation of a profile that will fit your network needs.   Once the initial configuration is done, the unit will be shipped to site for you to plug in.   The Tech Geeks will be on hand for up to a further 1 hour to work through any changes needed in the first 7 days of the install. 

Advanced Firewall Pre-Configuration:
This option is best for more complicated setups and generally needed for rackmount appliances and includes - firewall activation, registration and firmware updates.   Set up of all the security services, VLANs, VPNs and creation of a profile that will fit your network needs.   Configuration time is limited to a maximum of 3 hours. Once the initial configuration is done, the unit will be shipped to site for you to plug in.   The Tech Geeks will be on hand for up to a further 2 hour to work through any changes needed within the first 14 days of the install.

Standard Firewall Review:
We can undertake a full review of your existing firewall set-up including all security features and local network configurations. This review is designed for home and business environments with simple implementations. The aim is to ensure the solution you have in place serves your specific network requirements.  

Advanced Firewall Review:
If your implementation is more complicated or has rackmount appliances, we can provide an advanced review of your firewall set-up. This includes a detailed investigation of all security services, VLANs, VPNs and more. We will identify gaps and provide recommendations.
