IPsec VPN Client – End-of-Sale Announcement

With the launch of the new and greatly improved Sophos Connect v2 VPN client over a year ago, we are announcing the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the old Sophos IPsec VPN client for Windows.

End-of-Life 31-MARCH-2023

Migration Path Sophos Connect

New IPsec VPN client licenses and one-time updates will no longer be sold after March 31, 2022. All new client installations after this date will need to use Sophos Connect which is supported on both Sophos Firewall and Sophos UTM.

Sophos Firewall OS (SFOS) v18.0 – End-of-Life Pre-Announcement

SFOS v18.0 is scheduled to become end-of life at the end of July 2022. This early announcement is intended to give you sufficient time to plan your upgrade to a newer version.

The End-of-Life (EOL) is the date from which Sophos will no longer be providing support, security updates, or service. Devices must be updated to a more recent firmware release before the EOL date.

The latest software releases include a number of new feature, performance, and security enhancements which will benefit all Sophos Firewall customers.

Sophos Managed Threat Detection – End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement

This communication is to notify Partners about an important lifecycle update for the Sophos Managed Threat Detection product. Sophos Managed Threat Detection provides 24/7 threat monitoring and detections for organizations who use their current endpoint protection while still being monitored by Sophos MTR security analysts in the “Notify” only mode.
