The TP-Link 8-Port Gigabit Easy Smart Switch (SKU: DS108GE, based on the TL-SG108E) offers a simple way to expand your wired network at home or in the office. With eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, plug-and-play deployment and intelligent management features, it is a practical step up from a standard unmanaged switch for home and small business networks.
Eight non-blocking Gigabit ports allow large, bandwidth-intensive files to be transferred without interference. Auto-negotiation on each port detects the link speed of a connected device and adjusts settings for compatibility and optimal performance. The switch needs no configuration out of the box, so no technician is required, while its web-based user interface and management utility are available when you want more control over traffic prioritisation, VLANs and network monitoring.
The interior components are protected by a durable metal casing, and the fanless design keeps operation quiet. The compact body suits desktop placement or wall-mounting, and green technology helps reduce power consumption.
