When you order a Sophos license from us please make sure you include the license number or current hardware appliance serial number. Licenses generally take around 24 - 36 working hours to be issued after order.

In some instances you may find we show out of stock for certain hardware models. This is fairly normal and reflects the fact, often that we have to place what is called a back to back order. When you order with us, we order with Sophos and the unit is shipped in to the country. Please allow around 10 working days where we show as out of stock.

With a switching capacity of up to 680 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 506 Mpps, the DXS-3130-28P delivers ultra-fast data transfer and low latency, perfect for mission-critical applications. You can scale your network by stacking up to 9 switches into a single physical or virtual unit, simplifying management, improving redundancy, and allowing control of the entire stack through one IP address. Physical stacking provides up to 200 Gbps stacking bandwidth per device for maximum throughput.

Advanced PoE Features: The DXS-3130-28P supports Perpetual PoE and Fast PoE technologies. Perpetual PoE delivers uninterrupted power to connected powered devices (PD) even when the power sourcing equipment (PSE) switch is booting, whilst Fast PoE enables the switch to supply power to connected endpoint devices in a relatively short time without waiting for the operating system to fully load. PD-Alive auto-reboots unresponsive IP devices to ensure continuous operation and monitors their status.

Enterprise-Class Layer 3 Routing: The DXS-3130 Series enhances enterprise networking with advanced Layer 3 features, including dynamic IPv4/IPv6 routing (OSPFv2/v3, RIPv1/v2/ng) and VRRP for high availability. The switch supports up to 128 IP Interfaces, VRRP, static routing, RIPng, OSPF, IGMP and PIM-SM, enabling flexible inter-VLAN routing and intelligent traffic management.

Robust Security & Network Protection: The switch includes Access Control Lists (ACLs) for precise traffic filtering, along with 802.1X port-based authentication and support for RADIUS and TACACS+ for secure user access. To prevent Layer 2 attacks, the switches offer DHCP snooping, IP source guard, and ARP inspection. The DXS-3130-28P supports authentication mechanisms such as 802.1X, Web-based Access Control (WAC), and MAC-based Access Control (MAC) for strict access control, with individual policies such as VLAN membership, QoS policies, and ACL rules assigned to each host after authentication.

Flexible Management: The DXS-3130 Series supports multiple interfaces, including an intuitive web UI, Command Line Interface (CLI), SNMP v1/v2c/v3, and RMON. A USB 2.0 port enables direct booting of images and uploading of configuration files, as well as convenient storage of syslog files on a USB 2.0 device.
