What is Pre-Order / Special Order
We are just not quite the same as many of the other online stores. I know it is easy to say that, but we just aren't.
The Tech Geeks, under their parent company Twelve Times (Worldwide) Pty Ltd trade in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
This allows us to purchase stock from suppliers from locations where they have it available. We are then able to import those products directly, along with providing localised Warranty and Replacement as required.
We only list items that we know have been, or are about to be released to us and since we purchase only in small batches these are often flown in on short time frames.
We list on each product our expected shipments and ones that we have already sent out to customers. Please use these dates as a guideline as we always suggest 14-21 days just to allow for air freight or customs hold ups.
Description
Description
Layer 2 switch with optional PoE+. Start with the essentials for building high-performance networks.
A valid Meraki licence is needed for this device to function
The Meraki MS210-48LP 48-Ports Cloud Managed Stackable Gigabit PoE+ Switch provides Layer 2 access switching for branch and small campus locations. The MS210-48LP includes four (4) 1G SFP uplinks and physically stacks with the MS225 (sold separately) to gain access to its 10G uplink.
This switch also supports a rack-mountable PSU (Cisco RPS-2300 - sold separately). For power redundancy requirements, the MS210-48LP is built from the ground up to be easy to manage without compromising any of the power and flexibility traditionally found in enterprise-class switches. It is managed through an elegant, intuitive cloud interface, rather than a cryptic command line.
To bring up an MS210-48LP switch, just plug it in; there’s no need for complicated configuration files or even direct physical access to the switch. Meraki’s centralised management gives administrators deep visibility into the network and how it’s used. See which switches are near capacity across hundreds of sites. Find all configuration changes made by a certain person with instant search.
Features:
Forty-eight (48) Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and four (4) 1GbE ports.
1G switch, stacking-compatible with the MS225 (sold separately).

Non-blocking switch backplane with up to 176 Gbps bandwidth support.
Six (6) configurable QoS queues for converged voice, video, and data applications.
Quality-of-Service (QoS) to prioritise mission critical traffic such as voice and video
Low power consumption and shallow rack depth options, enabling flexible deployment in wiring closets as well as offices and classrooms.
