POE260R - TP-Link Omada 2.5G PoE+ Splitter

$29.59 AUD

Description

The TP-Link Omada 2.5G PoE+ Splitter (POE260R) is a compact 2.5 Gigabit PoE+ splitter that separates power and data from a single Ethernet cable. It converts a standard PoE+ input into a selectable 12V/9V/5V DC output, so you can power non-PoE devices over existing network cabling without needing a separate power adapter at the device location.

With 2.5G speed support on both RJ45 ports, the POE260R keeps multi-gigabit data flowing to your connected equipment while delivering the right voltage for the job. It is plug-and-play, with no configuration required, and its small footprint makes it easy to tuck away behind equipment or in tight spaces.

Key Features

  • IEEE 802.3af/at compliant - works with standards-compliant PoE and PoE+ switches and injectors
  • 2.5 Gigabit speed support - 10M/100M/1000M/2.5Gbps auto-negotiation on both RJ45 ports
  • Selectable power output - adjustable 5V DC/2A, 9V DC/2A or 12V DC/2A
  • Plug-and-play - no configuration required
  • Up to 100 metres - supports cable runs of up to 100 m with suitable Ethernet cable
  • Pocket-size design - measures just 80.8 x 54 x 24 mm
  • Simple connectivity - one POWER+DATA IN port, one LAN OUT port and one DC OUT power port, with a PWR LED indicator

Ideal for: IT installers, small businesses and home-lab users who need to power non-PoE devices such as switches, gateways or other Ethernet equipment over a single network cable, particularly where there is no nearby power outlet.

Installation Notes

Set the required voltage for your non-PoE device before connecting the cable. The suggested power for the connected non-PoE device is below 24 W. The splitter can be used with a PoE/PoE+ switch, or paired with a PoE injector as a kit to supply power and data to a non-PoE device.

Technical Highlights

  • Standards: IEEE 802.3i, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3bz, 802.3af, 802.3at
  • Cable support: Cat 5e or above for 1000BASE-T and 2.5GBASE-T (up to 100 m)
  • Operating temperature: -5°C to 45°C
  • Operating humidity: 10% to 90% RH non-condensing
  • Certifications: CE, FCC, RoHS

Compatible Products

Works with IEEE 802.3af/at compliant PoE and PoE+ switches, including Omada PoE+ switches, to deliver power and data to a non-PoE device.

PoE Injectors

Can be paired with a PoE+ injector as a kit to supply power and data to a non-PoE device.

Non-PoE Ethernet Devices

Suitable for powering non-PoE Ethernet devices such as switches and gateways that accept a 12V, 9V or 5V DC input.

FAQs

Can the PoE splitter negotiate to 10/100/1000Mbps?
Yes. All RJ45 ports of the PoE splitter support 10M/100M/1000M/2.5Gbps auto-negotiation.

Must I use the PoE injector together with the PoE splitter?
No. The PoE splitter is used with a PoE switch or a PoE injector to supply power to a non-PoE device.

What can I do if my PoE splitter doesn't supply power to the powered device or the supplied power is unstable?
Ensure the power cord is properly connected to the PoE switch or injector and power source, and ensure the power consumption of the powered device doesn't exceed 24 W, otherwise overload protection will cut off the power.

The Power LED of the PoE splitter is not lit. What should I check?
Ensure the switch or injector is PoE-compliant and its connecting port supports the PoE function, and ensure the powered device's consumption doesn't exceed 24 W. The quality and length of the Ethernet cable may also affect the power supply.
