FAQs
Why can I configure fewer VLANs than expected on my Agile switch?
When an Omada Agile (ES Series) switch is used with an Omada Controller, the number of available VLANs may be 31 rather than the expected 32.
How do I find the IP address of my Omada devices?
By default, Omada devices use dynamic IP addresses and should obtain one automatically from a DHCP server. You can find it using the Omada app or the Discover Utility, in either standalone or controller mode.
Can the PoE ports connect to non-PoE devices?
Yes. The PoE ports can also connect to non-PoE devices, but will only transmit data.
What management modes does the ES206GP support?
The switch supports Standalone Mode, where it is configured and managed individually, and Controller Mode, where network devices are managed centrally. Switching from Standalone to Controller Mode will cause the switch's configuration to be lost.
