The Switch Flex (USW Flex) is a fully managed, Layer 2 switch with (5) GbE RJ45 ports, including (4) GbE, PoE+ ports and (1) PoE++ input. Each of the USW Flex's PoE ports can provide up to 25W of power to your UniFi access points and PoE devices. When powered by a PoE++ switch [e.g., USW Pro 48 PoE, USW Pro 24 PoE, US XG 6 PoE, and USW Industrial switches (all sold separately)], the USW Flex can yield a 46W total PoE supply.
The USW Flex sports weatherproof housing and offers a variety of mounting options. This switch can also be monitored or configured from anywhere with the powerful, intuitive UniFi Network web application and mobile app.

What ports does the USW-Flex have?
It has five Gigabit RJ45 ports (1G/100M/10M). Four are PoE+ output ports and one is a PoE++ input port.
How is the USW-Flex powered, and how much PoE can it supply?
It is powered over Ethernet through its PoE++ input, using a PoE++ switch or a 60W PoE adapter. With that input it offers 46W of total PoE; a PoE+ input gives 20W and a PoE input gives 8W.
How much power can each PoE port deliver?
Each of the four PoE+ ports can provide up to 25W to devices such as UniFi access points. The total available across all ports depends on the power source feeding the PoE++ input.
Can the USW-Flex be used outdoors or mounted in different ways?
It has a weatherproof design and a compact form factor for desktop, wall or pole mounting. It operates from -40 to 55° C at 46W PoE output, or up to 65° C at 25W PoE output.
How is the USW-Flex managed?
It is a fully managed Layer 2 switch controlled through the UniFi Network web application and mobile app, version 5.10.3 or later. This lets you monitor and configure it remotely.

Using with a PoE injector in ceiling and has been great. Although do need to be mindful as it gets quite warm.
